Increase the space to get light for the house in Spain
Daylight is an important factor in creating a comfortable space. The design of the house, handled by the Spanish architecture firm Cumulolimbo, attempted to use the lightweight structure to spread out the space in order to maximize natural light and solve the existing problem of lack of daylight.
Home design ideas
Considering that the house has an east-facing terrace, the house design team decided to make effective use of the abundant morning light on this side. Through an open layout, the rear lights are interconnected. By opening up to the original height of the house, the floor slab is placed in the middle to provide ample and bright light, thereby increasing the efficiency of the space.

Overhead slabs are placed in the center of the house, the bathroom and bedroom are neatly integrated, the layout opens up the high social space front and back for light to circulate and diffuse. An array of white walls is spread, and a mirror is added to the ceiling behind. Curved decoration, with the use of surface materials to reflect light, multiplies and expands the clarity of the light inside.
